Maggie & Ellie’s Summer Arts & Crafts Camp

We’re currently registering for our popular summer Arts & Crafts Camp. Camps are one week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) from 10 am to 4 pm beginning in June. Campers will create several projects all week using various art mediums. We cover the same mediums each week (clay, pottery painting techniques, mosaics, tie-dye, paint pouring, acrylic canvas painting and drawing techniques) and may include a few different mediums from week to week. No two camps are alike! We keep our projects gender-neutral to appeal to a large number of children.

How do you know if a camp like this is a good fit for your child? We are a working studio - we open our doors to the public at noon. We don’t have a ton of space, so if your child needs to be running around and doesn’t desire sitting and working on art projects exclusively, this might not be the right camp for them. We mix things up during the day and provide opportunities for socializing and playing games in addition to our well thought out camp projects. Our camp leaders/instructors are two young women who both have degrees in art education. Their desire is to provide fun and teachable moments - good listening skills while the instructors are teaching is important.

Each week is $315 for all supplies, instruction, cooking lesson on Fridays at Young Chefs Academy in the plaza next to us, and afternoon snacks.
